How Acidic Is Decaf Coffee?

Decaffeinated coffee, often referred to as “decaf”, is coffee that has had at least 97% of its caffeine content removed. Many coffee drinkers choose decaf for health reasons or to avoid the stimulating effects of caffeine later in the day. But when it comes to acidity, how acidic is decaf coffee? Have less acidity than regular caffeinated coffee?

Although the decaffeination process explained and coffee variety have an impact on the acid in coffee, decaf coffee may have a slightly lower pH than caffeinated coffee, but not by much. Rather, the difference may be between a pH of 4.85 for caffeinated coffee and a pH of 5.07 for decaf coffee.

Let’s take a more detailed this topic look at the analysis by Mr. Pham Anh Dung!
